Easy to peel (with gloves anyway, as the tiny thorns that may remain are very difficult to remove and cause a lot of pain).
I gave up eating them as they were, after two painstaking attempts, because of the very hard and numerous seeds that took a long time to spit out. Then I told myself that I was not going to waste the other 5 and I passed them through a vegetable mill with a grid with small holes holding the seeds. Then, I blended the pulp with a hand blender to make a pure juice (1/2l) in which I added 2 bags of 7.5g vanilla sugar. A real delight.
